（中央社記者江今葉布魯塞爾28日專電）英國首相卡麥隆今天正式向歐盟其他國家領袖報告英國脫歐，他表示雖然結果遺憾，但不後悔推動公投。英國脫歐不表示英國從此將背向歐盟，英國希望與歐盟維持緊密關係。
他也指出，即使脫離歐盟，英國仍會是國際主要強權之一，英國不會、也不應該會從此背向歐盟，英國希望與歐盟在貿易、合作與安全各方面能維持緊密關係，不僅是和歐盟本身，也要和歐盟個別國家維持良好關係。
